If you sat for the RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II exam on 16th July 2026, or you’re gearing up for one of the papers still left this week, you’re probably hunting for the same thing every candidate wants right after walking out of the centre: the actual question paper. This page brings together the RPSC 2nd Grade Question Paper 2026 for every shift conducted so far, along with the papers that are still pending upload.
We’ll keep adding the PDFs here as soon as they go live, so it’s worth bookmarking this page and checking back once each shift wraps up.
What Exactly Is This Exam About
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission runs this recruitment drive to fill Senior Teacher Grade II posts for classes 6 to 10 under the Secondary Education Department. It’s a massive exam, spread across a full week, with different subject groups sitting on different days. Because the commission tests thousands of candidates across dozens of centres, the paper itself is entirely objective — no subjective writing, no interviews at this stage, just multiple choice questions that decide who moves ahead.
Two papers make up the test, and together they’re worth 500 marks. Paper 1 covers General Knowledge and runs for 2 hours with 100 questions worth 200 marks. Paper 2 is the subject-specific one, longer at 2.5 hours, with 150 questions worth 300 marks. Anyone who’s cleared a state-level teaching exam before will recognise this split immediately.
Feedback from candidates after the early shifts has been fairly consistent — most are calling the paper easy to moderate in difficulty, not the kind of curveball-heavy set some had feared.

If your admit card doesn’t match this timetable exactly, always go with what’s printed on the card — the official schedule can shift subject groupings slightly by region.
Your admit card is also downloadable from the official RPSC portal if you’ve misplaced your copy.
Breaking Down The Exam Pattern
Both papers are pure multiple choice, and the topics tested lean heavily on things a working teacher is expected to know cold — not just textbook facts.
Paper 1 pulls from Rajasthan’s geography, history and culture, current affairs specific to the state, general awareness of India and the world, and educational psychology. Paper 2 goes deeper into the actual subject you’ve applied for, testing knowledge up to secondary and senior secondary level, graduation-level concepts, and how well you understand teaching methodology for that subject.
Every correct answer earns 2 marks. Get one wrong, and a third of a mark gets deducted — so roughly 0.67 marks lost per incorrect attempt. Leave a question blank and nothing changes either way. This negative marking rule is exactly why guessing blindly on this paper can backfire fast.
Working Out Your Probable Score
Once the official or trusted unofficial answer key is out, scoring yourself isn’t complicated, just a bit tedious.
Go through your OMR response sheet question by question against the answer key. If a question ends up marked with an asterisk in the final key, full marks go to everyone regardless of the option chosen — don’t skip those. For every wrong answer, subtract a third of a mark. Add up the net for Paper 1 and Paper 2 separately, then combine both to land on your total out of 500.
It’s worth doing this exercise twice, once with the provisional key and again after the final key drops, since objections raised during the review window sometimes do change an answer or two.
Answer Key And What Comes After
RPSC typically doesn’t rush the answer key out the same week as the exam. Expect the provisional key roughly in the third week of July 2026, open for objections for a short window after that, followed by a final key in August. Results usually land shortly after the final key is locked in.
Here’s the rough sequence to keep on your radar:
- Provisional Answer Key: third week of July 2026
- Objection Window: through July 2026
- Final Answer Key: August 2026
- Result Declaration: August 2026
None of these dates are set in stone until RPSC confirms them officially, so treat this as a planning guide rather than a guarantee.
Grabbing The Paper From RPSC’s Own Website
If you’d rather go straight to the source instead of waiting on third-party uploads, here’s the quickest route:
- Head to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Look for the Question Papers or Answer Key section on the homepage.
- Find “Sr. Teacher Gr. II (Secondary Education) Competitive Exam” under the current year’s listings.
- Pick your subject and shift, then download.
- Match the paper code against your admit card before you start comparing answers — mismatched codes lead to wrong self-assessment.
